The success of Favorville ultimately depends on the number of members using the site.

If you are inspired by this concept and interested in seeing Favorville grow in your city, please help us out with our Community Marketing initiative.

We really need you to get involved and help us spread the word. Here's how you can start...

• Invite New Members: We’ve made a simple page (Send Invites) which allows you to invite up to 5 people at a time. We encourage all members to send out as many invites as possible. If you are uncomfortable emailing your friends through the site – no sweat, send them emails from your personal account. The point here is to make people aware of this project.
  
  
• Word of Mouth: Next time you’re chatting with your friends, co-workers, family etc… mention this site. Ask them what they think about the Favorville concept and suggest they join, or at least visit. We realise that this site may not be for everyone, but if we can attract those interested we’ll do just fine.
  
  
• Link to Us: If you operate your own website add a link to Favorville. We’ve created some badges (see below) which you can use on your sites as you see fit. Once referral traffic starts flowing in we’ll put something in place to recognize the top referring sites. Hopefully this will result in new traffic to your site as well – kind of our way of returning the favor :)
  
  
• Contact Local Media: If you’ve had a positive experience(s) from being a member of Favorville, write a letter to your local newspaper/radio station telling them about it. There are so many wonderful “stories” being created through Favorville - this is a great way to share them with the world.
  
  
• Post Flyers: We’ve created a couple of flyers (see below) which you can print out and post on bulletin boards in your community. Some good places to start may be community centres, grocery stores, workplaces etc… If you do decide to post flyers in your city please let us know so we can thank you personally.
